Arq International supports a number of local community and charitable initiatives:

Rich Mix

Rich Mix

We are a founder corporate member of this exciting new cultural centre in Tower Hamlets. Rich Mix is a bold new venture that is helping to support the diverse communities who live or work in East London. www.richmix.org.uk

The Hoxton Apprentice

Hoxton Apprentice

Every year this restaurant provides work and training for 45 people who for one reason or another have found life tough. So far over 70% have gone on to successful jobs in the industry. Ranked in 2006 as one of Time Out's Top 50 Restaurants in London, the restaurant has also won the 2006 New Statesman Social Enterprise team award. www.hoxtonapprentice.com

National Youth Choir of Scotland

We have also recently supported the National Youth Choir of Scotland and the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland, along with Work for Widows, a trading initiative for women widowed by the tsunami in Sri Lanka, and The Prostate Cancer Charity in the UK.

‘Less than a mile from the City, one of the richest areas of Europe, is the London borough of Tower Hamlets, the second poorest part of the UK. Arq International seeks to give financial help, and practical support to social and charitable organisations in our local area as well as further afield.’
